Discover a festive treat for the whole family as English National Ballet’s The Nut cracker London season pirouettes its way back to the Coliseum.
Inspired by E. T. A. Hoffmann’s story, The Nut cracker transports audiences to Edwardian London on a frosty Christmas Eve, just as Clara is unwrapping an enchanted Nutcracker toy. Together, she and the Nutcracker travel to an unfamiliar land, where the evil Mouse King is lurking.
Over 100 world-class dancers and musicians transform the London Coliseum into a winter wonderland, where Clara meets dashing strangers, fights villains, and floats in a hot air balloon across the Land of Snow. The ballet features an iconic, score by Tchaikovsky, beautiful and sumptuous sets and costumes, and exquisite dancing.
