The sessions will be led by Catherine Gordon for KCA. KCA have been turning research and theory about trauma and attachment into knowledge to support pupils and adults in schools for over 20 years. The theory of change put forward by Dr Jack Shonkoff (Harvard), ‘From Best Practice to Breakthrough Outcomes’ (May 2016), states that increasing the capability and capacity of adults is crucial in order to improve outcomes for children.

This is the basis for the KCA training offer.

Catherine is a highly experienced school leader with extensive experience in pastoral leadership and translating the latest neuroscience into practical action for practitioners and leaders.
